How to remove my name from Google search. Straight answer. You can't erase it, but you can remove results that break Google's rules, yourself or with a removal team. Google's personal information policy covers your address, phone number, and ID numbers. Search your name, tap the three dots on a result, and choose Remove result. That's the simple version. Underneath, every result needs one of three different fixes. And there's a faster way through all three. One. Contact info goes through Google's Results about you tool. But that only removes it from Google. The page stays on the website. Two. Anything else has to match a specific category in Google's policy. Miss the category, and the request is usually declined. Three. For the page itself, you go to each site owner, one by one. Some say no. News sites rarely take a story down. And what's true and breaks no rule, you can't remove. You push it down with pages you control, over months. That's why TheReputation.org exists. We sort every result, match it to the right policy, file it, and go to the source. If your name pulls up something you don't want seen, comment "REMOVAL." We'll look at what can come down, and handle it for you.
